FAQs

  • 1. What types of paving services do you offer?

We provide full-service asphalt and concrete paving for both residential and commercial clients. Our services include driveways, parking lots, patios, sidewalks, curbs, sealcoating, crack filling, line striping, speed bump installation, ADA upgrades, snow removal, and water management solutions.

  • 2. How long does a typical asphalt driveway last?

With proper installation and maintenance, an asphalt driveway can last 15 to 20 years. Factors like drainage, usage, climate, and regular sealcoating can extend its life.

  • 3. What is the difference between asphalt driveway installation and sealcoating?

Asphalt driveway installation involves building a new surface from the ground up using gravel and hot mix asphalt. It creates a strong, long-lasting foundation for your property.

Sealcoating is a maintenance treatment applied to existing asphalt. It protects against UV rays, water, oil, and cracks while restoring the driveway’s rich black finish.

Installing asphalt builds the driveway. Sealcoating keeps it looking great and helps it last longer.

  • 4. What is the difference between asphalt and concrete paving?

Asphalt is generally more flexible, cost-effective, and quicker to install, making it ideal for driveways and parking lots. Concrete is more rigid and durable under heavy loads, often used for sidewalks, curbs, patios, and decorative applications.

  • 5. When is the best time of year to schedule paving work?

The ideal paving season runs from spring through fall, when temperatures allow materials to set properly. However, some concrete and repair services can be performed year-round depending on weather conditions.

  • 6. How often should asphalt be sealcoated?

We recommend sealcoating asphalt surfaces every 2 to 3 years to protect against UV rays, moisture, and chemical spills. This extends the life of your pavement and enhances its appearance.

  • 7. Can you help with drainage or water pooling issues?

Yes. Advanced Paving Services offers expert water management and grading solutions to prevent pooling, erosion, and sub-surface damage. We tailor each drainage solution to the specific conditions of your property.

  • 8. Do you handle ADA-compliant upgrades and curbs?

Absolutely. We provide ADA-compliant ramp installations, sidewalk modifications, and parking lot striping to meet current accessibility standards.

  • 9. How soon can I drive or park on new asphalt or concrete?

For asphalt, wait at least 24 to 48 hours before driving on it. For concrete, a 5 to 7 day curing period is typically required depending on weather and thickness. We will always provide specific guidance for your project.

  • 10. Do you install and resurface ball courts?
